Reservation Procedures
Guests may call the hotel directly to make room reservations at 202/393-1000, or 1-800 445-8667, and ask for the AcademyHealth International Conference room block.
A deposit equal to one night’s stay is required to hold each individual’s reservation, and will be applied to the first night’s stay. This deposit is refundable if notice is received at least seventy two (72) hours prior to arrival and a cancellation number is obtained. Please make sure to identify yourself as an AcademyHealth International Conference attendee. Please also note that the hotel will add an early check-out fee of $75.00 to any guest who leaves prior to the reserved check-out date. In order to avoid this fee, please advise the hotel at or before the time of check-in of any change in the planned length of stay. Check-in time is 3:00pm and check-out time is 12:00N.
Transportation
The Capital Hilton is 10 miles from Reagan National Airport, and is approximately 30 miles from Dulles. Cab fare will be approximately $12 to/from Reagan National and $50 to/from Dulles. Metro also services Reagan National Airport, with a Metro stop located four blocks from the hotel. Please call the hotel concierge to confirm taxi rates prior to your arrival.
