CALL FOR ABSTRACTS
Call for Abstracts Closed March 14, 2003
AcademyHealth and AHRQ are pleased to issue a Call for Abstracts for Global Evidence for Local Decisions: 5th International Conference on the Scientific Basis of Health Services. Abstracts are invited for three categories: (1) call for papers, (2) call for posters, and (3) call for panels. 90 minute break-out sessions will be selected from the call for papers and call for panels.
Review Status of Abstract Submission
PAPERS: The call for papers sessions are organized around 5 themes. Abstracts not selected for paper presentation will be further reviewed for poster presentation. An abstract or panel may be submitted to only one theme.
POSTERS: The call for posters solicits abstracts for the poster program. Abstracts may be submitted on any topic related to the themes and subthemes. The poster program is an effective mechanism for research dissemination and networking.
PANELS: The call for panels provides researchers an opportunity to collaborate with colleagues and submit a proposal on any topic related to themes one through four for a full 90-minute session. The lead organizer submits a proposal that includes a brief overview of the panel and individual abstracts from the presenters. Individual abstracts not selected for panels will be re-reviewed for poster presentation.
All abstract and panel submissions undergo blind peer review. Abstracts selected for a session or a poster presentation will be posted on the Conference web site (www.icsbhs.org).
